How to Join the Team
Read the information found on this website to familiarize yourself with the program.
Fill out this form and we'll set up a time to talk.
After we talk on the phone, we will send you an email to add you to TeamSnap and to register with the league.
Still not sure? We offer one-time practice waivers so you can check it out before committing to registration.
DATES
April - Aug: Registration*, Pre-season social rides
July - Aug: Practices** 2x week & 1 weekend ‘fun ride’
Sept - Nov: Practices 2x week & Races every other weekend for 4-5 races total
Dec-June Off-Season: Many kids/families keep in touch to organize just-for-fun (non- coached, non-insured) rides.
*Registration is cutoff when team roster is full
**Riders are not expected to attend every practice or race
Try-It-One-Time Waiver
Your rider can come to one practice or one event without having to sign up for the league. Contact us first and read and sign the waiver below. Parents cannot ride or utilize this waiver.
EQUIPMENT
Working mountain bike
Properly fitted helmet
Bike Gloves
Hydration device, water bottle or hydration backpack
Spare tube
Eye protection- recommended not required
Flat-soled shoes (available at bike shops or something like Vans work well)
Pedals- Kids start with flat pedals and progress into clipless when ready
Any needed medications (EpiPen, inhaler, etc)
If you are unable to secure equipment, GCA has a bike loaner program*
COSTS
Jersey ~$50 +
GCA fees - $205 Registration Fee
GCA Race Series Fees (Optional - for more info CLICK HERE )
Early Bird Fee for all races - $160
Pre Season Discount for all races - $200
Race Series Registration for all races - $220
Team fees - $100 ($40 for each additional family member student rider)
~ $515 Total
If you are unable to pay fees, financial assistance may be available.
